Community Engagement

The initial discovery phase will include key subject matter experts, functional/technical leads and various working group members from across the Institute to help confirm priorities, finalize project scope and refine the implementation strategy.

Additional opportunities to get involved with activities will be included here during the implementation phase.

Key Activities to Date

  • Conducted the discovery phase to confirm project scope and priorities
  • Began to meet regularly with administrators to build awareness of the current phase and next steps (included 200+ participants)
  • Conducted business process pilot sessions with key subject matter experts across campus focused on three areas: recruit-to-hire for Human Resources, accounts receivable and billing for Finance, and effort reporting for Research Administration
  • Completed 63 familiarization sessions with key functional and technical leads to demonstrate Oracle Cloud’s processes for higher education
  • Engaged 73 DLCI participants across primary workstreams to determine detailed implementation scope
  • Established and led chart of accounts advisory and working groups to discuss proposed changes
