Community Engagement

The current implementation phase launched in March, 2026, will start with mapping over 200 business processes and associated detailed design activities engaging business process experts from across the Institute. The project team will spend the next year taking our day-to-day administrative work - such as purchasing, budgeting and payroll for employees - and set them up in the new Oracle Cloud system.

Key Activities to Date

  • Conducted a discovery phase to confirm priorities, finalize project scope and refine the implementation strategy
  • Began to meet regularly with administrators to build awareness of the current phase and next steps (included 200+ participants)
  • Conducted business process pilot sessions with key subject matter experts across campus focused on three areas: recruit-to-hire for Human Resources, accounts receivable and billing for Finance, and effort reporting for Research Administration
  • Completed 63 familiarization sessions with key functional and technical leads to demonstrate Oracle Cloud’s processes for higher education
  • Engaged 73 DLCI participants across primary workstreams to determine detailed implementation scope
  • Established and led chart of accounts advisory and working groups to discuss proposed changes
